inlingua English Lessons

In inlingua Vancouver's English Lessons, students learn how to speak English in a fun, effective and practical way. These English Lessons are every day of the week, from Monday to Friday. Lessons will be from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM or from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon). Detailed schedules are listed above.

In these lessons, we use the inlingua method

  •  Fully trained native instructors.
  •  Questions and answers, games, discussions, role-plays, gestures and expression, all using specially designed materials.
  •  New English grammatical structures and vocabulary are covered in a natural progression. One unit of the book and its three key points are introduced daily and there is a weekly review. All this is done orally to maximize speaking time, limiting grammar explanations and writing time.
  •  In the inlingua method the books are closed part of the lesson so students can speak and listen actively, also avoiding the use of dictionaries or notebooks.

Students will use exclusive inlingua books and CDs

  •  Exclusive inlingua Books and CDs.
  •  Students use books and CDs for their homework to reinforce the knowledge and its correct use.
  •  By doing exercises in the Textbook and by listening to the Audio CDs, students improve their writing, reading and listening skills.

It is necessary to study hard

  •  Quizzes, Presentations, Written Test, Homework and attendance are all necessary.
  •  A minimum mark of 80% is necessary to pass to the next level.
  •  There are 3 weekly quizzes for levels 1A through 2B. For levels 3A through 5B, students write 2 quizzes and do one mid-term presentation.
  •  Students at all levels write a final exam at the end of the term and have a final presentation.

In the inlingua Speaking lessons, there are 10 Levels. All general English courses are offered in 10 (ten) levels from beginner to advanced plus

  • 1A / 1B – Beginner
  • 2A / 2B – Intermediate
  • 3A / 3B – Upper Intermediate
